Subject: [Web4lib] Public Library Scanning Setup

We are setting up a new information center in which we plan to provide scanning and faxing capabilities for patrons.

I am wondering if other public libraries offer the capability to scan? If so, what do you charge (if anything) and how is it set up? Do you allow patrons to scan and e-mail from a public account to themselves? Or save to a USB or disc (does this exist without being hooked up to PC?)

Thanks,
