The EU-funded DL.org project is delighted to announce that we will be delivering the DL.org Summer School on "Digital Libraries & Digital Repositories: Interoperability Perspectives" from the 6th to the 10th of June 2010 in Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy.

Program
Participation in the DL.org Summer School (http://www.dlorg.eu/index.php/summer-school/agenda) will assist attendees in understanding how to address interoperability challenges, approaches and techniques within the context of digital libraries and digital repositories. In addition, the DL.org Summer School will offer participants the opportunity to network with other researchers, international experts, and practitioners across disciplinary and national boundaries.

Audience
We hope that the audience will be mainly practitioners, researchers and professionals with an interest in the topic of digital library interoperability. Internationally established lecturers (http://www.dlorg.eu/index.php/summer-school/lecturers) will lead each one half-day session and most will be available through the week for further discussion.

Venue
The Summer School takes place at the Grand Hotel Golf in Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy during the week beginning 6 June 2010. This will give students opportunities to get to know each other and to exchange ideas among themselves and with the lecturers, who are expected to stay for most of the duration of the Summer School.
