[Web4lib] Slideshare "slidecast" unstable?

Dear Colleagues,

I know that many of you have probably posted slideshows to slideshare.net . I attempted (supposedly successfully) to link an MP3 file of a narration to a PPT presentation that I had on Slideshare. Then to make a slidecast I tried to synchronize the linked MP3 narration to the slideshow. When I was done I ran the presentation, but there was no sound.

I also see tutorials on slideshare about making slidecasts -- and when I view these, they have no sound. Not only that, but people are commenting "I like irony, but if slidecasts imply sound, how come there isn't any?" (Incidentally my computer has sound)

Have any of you experienced this quirky slidecast problem in slideshare? Is there a way around it? What have you done to solve it?

I like AuthorSTREAM much better, but I thought I'd give this slidecast thing on Slideshare a try; I was unsuccessful.

Any comments will be appreciated! Thanks.
