[Web4lib] Kindle in the library

Hi. Can anyone tell me what your experience has been with using the Kindle as an e-reader option for lending in your library? We are starting to look at the Kindle, Sony, and the iPad as our options. So far the only one that I have been using is the Kindle and am only able to open PDF's on it. I haven't figured out if there is a way to access the internet to download e-books directly from our library website. Thanks! Cindy
