Subject: [Web4lib] Optimizing graphics

I am seeking recommendations for a freeware tool that I can use to reduce the file size (but not the actual dimensions) of images that will be used on our web site. A similar fee based product is GifBot from NetMechanic.com.

Our PCs run Windows XP. Any and all suggestions (but especially those based on personal experience) will be gratefully accepted.
