The answers you are seeking are entirely dependant upon the particular
content management system you are using. What is your CMS?

Subject: [Web4lib] implementing date metadata for web pages in a CMS

I'm wondering how folks manage dates for their web content. Currently
MPOW uses date.created and date.modified in their metadata for their
static pages, but they wanted to implement something akin to
date.reviewed.

We want to implement this as part of the metadata information entered
(both automatically and manually) from within our new CMS, but we're
not sure how it should be set up.For folks who maintain data for each
of these fields within a CMS, what does that look like? What is the
criteria for "reviewed" is it tied to any other formal review process
(e.g. editor review, review schedules, etc.) that is managed by the
CMS? Which fields are auto-populated by default and which are are
editable? I'd be curious to hear how, or if, folks manage this and
also how the date data is presented to users aside from just within
the source code.

Thanks!
