Mark, I would say Dick Hardt's presentation at Defrag last fall had a
compelling influence on how I do talks... he's super. (I know he based
his style on Lawrence Lessig, but Hardt just exudes "cool.") 

Yes, I should have mentioned that I am mentioning OpenID (it was break
time and my tea was ready so I hit send... I know, very bad excuse). I'd
love to know if any campuses (campii?) have investigated OpenID. Thanks
also to Ted Koppel for pointing me to the NISO best practices report.
This is mission drift, but I'm curious to know if the report influenced
Shib development.
