Funny this should come up today. I was just being asked about the iPod
Touch and the Nokia N800 for roaming staff members in the library. The
use a mobile Opera or Safari web browser in these palm sized devices.
However, I need to make sure they support Java scripting and WEP before
we will try one in our environment.

Does anybody have any opinion on these devices?

The iPhone can join open, WEP, WAP & WAP2 networks. It can do L2TP or
PPTP based VPN's over both Edge and WiFi.
