I was giving a library orientation session for a group of high school
students who were visiting the library. They were part of a program
where they take distance classes for college credit and this was one
of their campus visits.

While I was going over some of the databases and describing saving
citations to RefWorks, a student at the back asked if they had access
to the campus wireless network and I said they did and quickly
reviewed how that worked. When we went on a brief tour of the library,
he came up and showed me how he had signed up for a RefWorks account
and added some citations using his iPod Touch.

It was a happy geek moment. For both of us.
