Out of a 14 region statewide network several, including my region,
link their library homepage to WorldCat. Starting last fall, many of
the regions put the Google Scholar search box up as well. We've just
put it on to evaluate the effects on database searching. Although our
holdings are linked to GScholar, I don't know (yet) if it's effective.
There's a good article that's worth your time: "Google Scholar and the
Library Web Site: The Early Response by ARL Libraries
<http://www.ala.org/ala/acrl/acrlpubs/crljournal/backissues2006a/marcha/Mullen06.pdf>"

    Good luck,
    Sarah Berndt
