[Web4lib] Content management systems

While I don't use it for my library's website, I do run a library job
site on the side using Joomla (www.lib-bling.com, if you're
interested). I've recently had a bunch of volunteers offer to help
me out and I've been trying to train them with it, so far so good,
although no one is doing anything more than publishing job
postings. I find for doing all of your basic website things Joomla
works awesome, however the more I try to stretch its capabilities the
more I find myself doing more and more 'hackish' things with it.
Still it has a very friendly user interface for administration so it
should allow people who are not entirely comfortable with HTML to
still get a lot done.

If you have a usb-flash drive and want to play around, 'Webserver on
a Stick' http://www.chsoftware.net/en/useware/wos/wos.htm can package
Joomla, Drupal, and Mambo so you can run a little apache test server
from your thumb-drive, and try them all with little effort.

I would be interested in what any Drupal users have to say, as I hear
good things about that.

If any has any additional questions I'd be glad to take them,
although I'm far from a Joomla expert.
