Web Site Specialist

Position: Full-time Web Site Specialist at the Main Library in the
Automation Services department. 

Duties: Design, development and management of the Library's website,
including content creation, usability design, evaluation, site
improvements and updates and quality control. Responsible for design and
integration of the library online catalog and other remotely provided
services into the website. Researches new technologies for web site

Qualifications: Masters degree in library science from an ALA accredited
school or equivalent degree in the field of information technology or
computer science. 2-3 years experience in design, development and
maintenance of a large interactive website. Experience with design
principles, applications and scripting languages. Must have experience
with: HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, and XML. 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, includes evening and weekend hours.


Salary: $39,784 - $55,070
