Just a quick warning, I do believe the TortoiseSVN only has the client. 
(Which is absolutely wonderful by the way).  You need to get a svn server 
as well.  There's one at 
http://subversion.tigris.org/svn_1.3_releasenotes.html.  There used to be 
a nice Windows CVS server, but now I can't remember the name.  I'd assume 
it's gone to SVN now as well.   I'll check my Windows box when I get home, 
I have the docs there somewhere.

That's good.  There's also some windows-native mirroring apps out there, 
but since when I need to do mirroring I've always used Unix/Linux systems 
I have no clue what they are.

Yeah, I just don't know it well enough to know if it has any version 
tracking capability.


Good luck.  It'll take some elbow grease to get the system working how you
