I must admit I find this stuff fascinatin', the fact that I could put the
core of what I need for Internet research on a nerdstick. (I have a 64
MB one that I bought in 2003 and it still works like a charm, despite
getting extensively chewed on my the cat.)

But one thing stops me -- the idea of losing it. What happens if you have
an FTP client loaded with your passwords etc and you lose the stick?

Is there a way to encrypt the 'stick's content? I know there are biometric
nerdsticks but I don't really trust that as a security measure yet.
