Take a look at our Marin County Free Library blog:
http://www.marincountyfreelibrary.blogspot.com/ We get many visitors
each month--it serves us as a great tool to get the word out about
services and resources.

You may also want to take a look at the Library Blog list on LibDex:
http://www.libdex.com/weblogs.html (organized by country and then state
within the US). There are many public library blogs listed.

Subject: [Web4lib] Public library blogs used as a promotional tool

> Hello there,
>
> I'm curious if anyone has any examples of public library blogs that
are used as promotional tools. I'm specifically interested in blogs
that highlight new or updated web pages or existing services on library
web sites. Promoting events and library initiatives are acceptable as
well.
