[Web4lib] The Library, FaceBook, and My Space

I sent the message below out to all in our college community.  I already
have over 20 "friends" on Facebook and 12  "friends" on My Space.  I am
also sending out a message to any academic libraries I find on Facebook
to see if any are interested in starting an academic library Facebook
Group.

To college community

Welcome back!  As an experiment I have setup memberships for the Library
in My Space and FaceBook, where many college students hang out and
network online.
I am hoping to reach out to students where ever you are in this effort.
If you belong to either community already, please add the library to
your list of friends.  This is an experiment and may be ended at any
time if it is not successful.
Please help us make this a success.
