ACRL/NEC 2006 Conference: Call for Participation in Poster Session!!
Mullins Center, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Friday, April 21, 2006

In order to highlight and share activities and achievements of
the New England academic library community, the ACRL/NEC
Conference Planning Committee invites proposals for a poster session.

Conference Theme: "Leveraging Our Strengths: Alliances,
Interdependencies and Developing Services."

Speakers:

Donald Beagle, Director of Library Services, Belmont Abbey College
Nancy Foster, Lead Anthropologist, and Susan Gibbons, Assistant Dean,
Public Services & Collection Development, University of Rochester 

Mary Lee Kennedy, Executive Director, Baker Library, Harvard Business School

Suggested Poster topics include (but are not limited to):

- Collaborations involving instruction (library and teaching faculty, etc.)
- Resource sharing
- Consortial services
- Innovative uses of technology

To apply to submit a proposal, please provide the following
information:

Name; Title/Position; 
Address; 
Telephone; Fax; Email; 
Title of Poster; a 200-250 word abstract, which clearly describes the
purpose and content of the poster; and whether you plan to use
a laptop to:

Deadline for submission: Applications must be received by
Monday, January 23, 2006. Email submissions preferred.

Abstracts will be evaluated by members of the ACRL/NEC
Conference Poster Session Subcommittee and presenters will be
notified by Monday, February 3, 2006.
