If you want to pick on Michigan, please go to www.umich.edu (81 hits) or
go to Google and search for:

Being a Buckeye in central Ohio, I would much prefer that. :-) All in
good fun, though. I don't mean to "pick" on anyone.

Isabel Danforth, who was unable to reply to the list but replied to me
private, asked if anyone has searched OCLC for "library." Good
suggestion!

 libary site:lib.umich.edu

Only 12 hits. But I bet you're right, you'll find this lots of places.

One year, 1991 I believe, Michigan State's schedule book, distributed to
50,000 students, had the word "Univeristy" on the cover in a bold, large
font. We no longer print that document on paper, so if someone wants to
poke fun at future typos, it will have to be a screen shot.

This is not to pick on Michigan -- I just did it there because Richard
had pointed us there. I'm guessing it can be found most places.

Go to www.msu.edu.

In the search box, type:

     libary

Observe the hit list.

Tell me I was wrong for inserting that term as a Best Bet.

For extra credit, go to Google and search for:

      libary site:edu

Observe all the Universities that Ought to Use Spell Checkers. For
instance, carefully inspect this site's <title> tag:
