I can certainly recommend 1and1.com as a domain registrar, for price,
responsive service, and not doing numbskull things like letting your
registration lapse without lots of notification...  (I never realized 1and1
was German, but checking the corporate history, I see that it is. Huge
operation: 30,000 servers...)
