[Web4lib] Integrated Library Systems whose only client is a browser

Hi,

Are there any large Integrated Library Systems whose only client is a
browser? By a browser only client, I mean, it is possible to catalogue,
and issue and return books using a web browser.

At present, we install three clients on every workstation viz. an SQL
client, the ILS client, and Internet Explorer (for access to our
intranet). In addition, we have many small libraries in remote areas
that are not part of our Wide Area Network but do have broadband. So if
our ILS employed a browser as its only client this would be ideal for
us.

We have a catalogue of about two million items. I know that Openbiblio
is browser only but this is not capable of dealing with two million
items.

Any recommendations would be very welcome.
