And this is to replace the content management system put in, what, last
year? I'm sure all ALA members will be thrilled to see how well their dues
are being spent.

Subject: [Web4lib] ALA RFP for Content Management System

The American Library Association seeks to acquire a new content management
system for creating and producing its website. The proposed system must be
web-based, and cross-browser / cross-platform accessible. It must
accommodate the functions described in the attached request for proposal
(RFP). We seek very broad input at this point, and welcome proposals from
vendors and/or consultants who propose open source solutions.

An electronic version of this RFP may be obtained at
http://www.ala.org/cms-rfp .

Proposals in electronic format are preferred (rich text or .pdf
preferred). Please email Debi Lewis at delewis at ala.org, with your proposal
attached, by 3:30 p.m. CDT, Friday, July 1, 2005. Responses received after
this time will not be considered.

Thanks for your interest in ALA.
