Sent off to Web4Lib with Kathy's permission. Further questions to her,
please... thanks. I'm like the least competent authority on blog software
behind any wall, let alone a firewall.

Hmmmmmmm... that sounds like a good question for Web4Lib! I think both
Wordpress and Movable Type can be used behind a firewall. May I send your
question on to a list?

Karen

Hello Karen,
I had attended a few of your sessions at both OLA & SLA and have found them
very useful. I do however have a basic question with which I hope you won't
mind assisting me. Of all the blogware referred to in the various postings I
am only interested in software that I can use behind a firewall. I am
proposing to create a blog on my corporate library's Intranet site and that
site is only accessible to our staff. I've fooled around with Thingamablog
which is not bad - but some of the references to programs such as Moveable
Type and others seem more useable and flexible. (I am no techie - but I can
rely on the help or our webmaster - when he's available)
Would you mind commenting on blogging software that is aimed or appropriate
for Intranets specifically?
Many thanks
