the topic:  check out 'OpenSourceCMS': :http://www.opensourcecms.com/

The site features a number of the more popular packages -- and the 
greatest is, they're all hooked up so you can log in and tool around as 
an "administrator".

I found this of enormous help when trying to figure out systems like 
Drupal and WordPress.
