[Widely cross posted. Please excuse duplicate postings.]

Is your library pushing the envelope when it comes to the utilization of
metasearch? We are looking for case studies of libraries that are
utilizing metasearch software in innovative ways to reach out to library
patrons. Examples might include: the integration of metasearch software
into online courseware like WebCT, or Blackboard, customization of out
of the box software to suit patron needs, results from usability studies
that guided or changed your metasearch implementation, etc.

If this sounds like your library and you would like to be a part of the
RUSA MARS Hot Topics in Electronic Reference Discussion Group session to
be held at the ALA annual conference in Chicago 2005 (tentative date and
time for session: June 25th 11:30-12:30), contact either Carole
Pilkinton or Matthew Bejune by February 25th.
