[Web4lib] Library/technology item on Beloit College's Mindset List

Many of you are familiar with the Beloit College "Mindset List", issued
in the late summers to remind everyone that new freshmen have different
cultural touchstones than older faculty, and urging them to "think about
the touchstones and benchmarks of a generation that has grown up with
CNN, home computers, AIDS awareness, digital cameras and the Bush
political dynasty."

Each year they list 75 of these benchmarks for the incoming freshman
class. Item #49 on the list for the Class of 2009 reads: "Libraries have
always been the best centers for computer technology and access to good
software."
