[WEB4LIB] Fw: Joseph Henry Press -- free online books

I did a keyword search for "Joseph Henry Press" in our online catalog
and got 6 results, all of which we access via Net Library. All six look
like legitimate science books. Five are on biotechnology and one is on
natural disasters. None appear to be slanted or conform to an agenda of
any sort.

I sent this to the author of the original message (who has responded to
me,)
but I meant to send it to the list. Are these free online books worth
it?
(I'm not ready to give up and just have a single link to Google
Scholar
yet.)

Is this too good to be true? Do these publications have a political
(religious, economic, whatever) slant or agenda? Are they scholarly
books that a college/university library should have? Should we link
to
them and/or include them in our collections plan?
