The Health Sciences Library & Biocommunications Center at the 
University of Tennessee Health Science Center seeks candidates for the 
position of Web Services Librarian & Instructor/Assistant Professor. 
The Web Services Librarian, a member of  Electronic Services,  designs 
and develops web pages for the library’s public web site, the library’s 
intranet site, and the library’s web OPAC. The position serves as the 
leader of the library's web advisory committee in overseeing web site 
design and consistency and promoting web standards. Tenure track 
faculty position.  Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited library 
school or an equivalent combination of a relevant advanced degree and 
experience. Ability to create and manage effective complex web sites. 
Knowledge of or experience in user-centered design and web standards. 
Self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to function in 
a service-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communciations 
skills. Minimum salary: $38,000 with excellent fringe benefits. Send
