LISTSERV Lite running on NT/2K would cost $1500 purchase.  That would
permit unlimited lists of unlimited size.  Lest anyone think you
couldn't do much on that platform, that's what LSoft is using to run
gigantic lists.

Although there are a variety of options that LSoft offers for hosted
lists, none of them would be as inexpensive as the purchase described
above.
