For you Standards mavens...

Aaron Dobbs touched on an interesting topic last week
<http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/Web4Lib/archive/0210/0070.html>, when he
highlighted Wired News recent total revamp to become standards compliant.

CNN <http://cnn.com> launched a new design in September, but the standards
compliance is far from uniform. Sometimes stories within the site display
well in standards-compliant browsers (Mozilla 1.2a under W2K in this
instance). Last Friday, when I started to respond, the CNN content was well
behaved. While other times, (eg today, some browser and workstation)
stories <http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/science/10/15/attacks.document.ap/>
look as if they have no line feeds.

Further complicating the picture, the subsidiary sites CNN/SI
<http://cnnsi.com> and CNN Money <http://cnnmoney.com> do not suffer from
the same trainwreck markup display on their dynamically rendered pages.
