Printing Ancestry Plus Census Images and Winselect

We have had problems with patrons printing several thousand copies of a
single web page just for "fun". Because of this, we recently implemented
printing restrictions in Internet Explorer using WinSelect.

Last week we discovered that implementing printing restrictions in
WinSelect prevents patrons from printing Census images using the Mr. SID
viewer in Ancestry. We get a message box with "Mr. SIDI" in the title
bar and a big yellow exclamation mark in the body of the box.

I called the Mr. SID expert at Ancestry and he has never heard of this
problem. Have any of you seen this and, dare I hope, solved it?

We are going to call Winselect about it.

Note: We have looked at going to Public Web Browser earlier this spring.
Right now none of us can remember exactly what the problem was that made
us decide to stay with WinSelect, but we assume it was significant. We
are looking for our notes on this.
