Library Systems/Database Administrator, SUNY System Administration

SUNY System Administration is seeking an individual to coordinate and
perform system analysis and planning, Unix system management, upgrades, and
enhancements for multi-campus library systems. As a member of the Office of
Library & Information Services (OLIS), the successful candidate will work
with a team of information professionals coordinating and providing library
services to the University's 64 campuses.   This position will be based in
Albany and will require campus site visits throughout the state.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The successful candidate must have experience in Unix system administration,
TCP/IP networks, and client/server computing environments. The successful
candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
A Bachelors' degree is required.  Preference will be given to those with
experience in academic computing environments, library management systems,
HTML, Oracle, SQL, and programming.
