Hehehe... no sense of humor, people :)

I can buy a new four bedroom, two-story, two-car garage home in AZ for
$100,000.  Here in Newport Beach, the same home would cost $1,000,000 (or
more).  Considering the monthly mortgage differential between Newport Beach
& AZ, you see how one could like comfortably on $36K a year over there.

Anyway, since this runs the risk of "Off-Topic" chatter, I'll digress...

I don't think the cost of living discrepancy between Arizona and So. Cal
is a factor of 5.5.  The difference between housing in San Francisco and
parts of Arizona might be that great, but not overall cost of living.
