Few professional meetings are more stimulating than are those of IATUL 
(INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES)! Invited 
speakers from Elsevier Science, BioOne, and SPARC Europe represent powerful 
interests in the publishing world; national library leaders in the 
coordination of international resources, including speakers from the 
Library of Congress, Japan's National Diet Library, the US National 
Agriculture Library, and the National Research Council of Canada; and 
cooperative ventures in the U.S., Australia, and Great Britain will be 
discussed. Finally, a look at the future of library services, a program 
session headlined by Clifford Lynch and officials from OCLC and RLG. 
Complimenting the invited speakers are over thirty-five contributed papers 
and posters representing twenty-two countries. The costs of social events 
(the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Jazz Museum, a Rodeo and Bar BQ, and 
the conference dinner) are included in the registration fee. The 
post-conference tour to scenic Branson, Missouri is not to be missed!
