The University of South Alabama has the following position opening:

Web Development/Education Librarian

The Biomedical Library of the University of South Alabama welcomes
applications for a Web Development/Education Librarian. Serves as Head of
the microcomputer and multimedia labs. Tenure-track position responsible
for library's web development activities and participates in general
reference and education activities. Schedule involves rotating weekends
and, on occasion, evening hours.

Required: ALA-accredited Masters Degree; experience creating Web pages and
managing a web site; experience teaching or speaking before
groups; reference experience or related course work; interpersonal and
communication skills; ability and interest in learning new skills; and
ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong collaborative
and collegial skills, and a commitment to responsive and innovative
service; service oriented/ patron centered; ability to work with diverse
population that includes clinicians, researchers, students and
staff; membership in the Academy of Health Information Professional within
three years of hire; working knowledge of HTML and web authoring or
development tools. The successful candidate must communicate and perform
well in an interview and teaching demonstration.
