My husband and I are just learning PHP - kind of like an open-source version of
ColdFusion. It can be used for file uploads - here's the section in the manual
about it: http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php
I like the manual as there is user input and examples below the text.

There is also an html form tag "<input type="file" name="filefield">" - but you
will need some program to accept the input.

Good luck-
Lydia Bauer
