CSS help

Hello all!

I'm hoping some of you who are more CSS-knowledgeable might be able to help
me on this one...

I've just learned CSS, with an intent to experiment with doing our library
web site redesign using CSS. This is what I've got:

	http://novi.lib.mi.us/redesign/karen.htm

(It's just the one page...links won't take you anywhere...)

In IE, it looks beautiful...just perfect! :)
In NS 6.x, my horizontal navigation at the top "bunches" together - it
doesn't recognize the spacing I've tried to do.
In NS 4.x, it looks awful, which is expected...but if I could get it to look
a little better, that'd be good.

Can anyone help me out? I'm not familiar with what CSS is supported by
which browsers. And the NS 6.x problem really baffles me.

You can find my CSS at:
	http://novi.lib.mi.us/redesign/style/karenstyle.css

Thanks very much for any advice...

          Karen
