Proxy Config. on Macs

This is a question for Mac users.  Can someone who one of the following versions
of Netscape:

4.73-4.76

on a Mac see if you can use an IP address in the manual proxy configurations
exception field that is documented here:

http://northville.lib.mi.us/tech/lockin.htm

I'm not sure if this method supports IP addresses but since I don't have a Mac
to test on, I can't verify either way. The goal would be to limit the browser to
a set range of IP addresses, like 206.15.x.x.
