Absolutely no apologies for x-posting...

Anyone from PUBLIB or WEB4LIB interested in an aquatic get-together at
the LITA National Forum, maybe before dinner on Saturday night? (PUBLIB
By The Pool?) The conference hotel has something called Paradise
Landing, "a 20,000 square-foot indoor water park located inside the
Hotel with a three story Jamaican Village, seven water slides, a 32
person hydrotherapy spa, water basketball and lilly [sic] pad walk..."
Unless I'm missing some major activity from the conference schedule, a
get-together could be pulled off before the "Networking Dinners" (darn
it--where IS my crimping tool?) and after the last concurrent session on
Saturday, which ends at 4:40. I can't speak for you-all, but I feel as
if a little mindless fun is in order. I have a feeling they charge
extra for access to Paradise Landing, but I'm not sure.

By the way, if you're attending the LITA forum, I'm doing a general
session Sunday morning called "LII: Past, Present & Future"--a discourse
about the wonderful things Carole Leita has done with the Librarians'
Index to the Internet, and talking about the many possible futures of
the LII. I will do my best to be insightful, silly, fun, and
thought-provoking. Hope to see you there...
