Hi,

When I was working in Texas, we were using TexShare,
a statewide consortium of academic and public libraries administered
by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

They provide two sets of database subscriptions, one for
public library patrons:
castor.tsl.state.tx.us/texshare/pl/

The other for academic libraries:
www.texshare.edu/programs/academicdb/index.html

I know that they are working on unifying those services,
but I dont know when/if it will happen :-)

BTW, you need to have the "right" IP number (Texas library)
in order to access those databases, otherwise you will be
asked for a user name and password.

Regards,

Andy Mezynski
