I purchased my own domain name today from directNIC.com. I want to use the
site to promote my work outside of the library. In the past I have done
some consulting, lots of training, presentations at conferences, reviewing
books and websites, and writing articles and bibliographies of internet
resources for textbooks. What is the best way to approach this? I will be
using the free web hosting at directNIC because the SUNY system does not
allow any promotion of business activities on personal webpages on a state
owned webserver. Please send me your ideas off list. URLs and such would
be appreciated.

My new domain is BillDrew.Net but will take several days to propagate across
the web. I have not yet been able to upload any pages yet.
