[WEB4LIB] Computers in Libraries

A the risk of being one of the DUH! presentations, I have to say that I
had a similar conversation with a colleague about the content of these
conferences ... they are not, it appears, for the technically savvy.  That
was not always true about CIL -- it used to be the conference the techie
types went to to find other techie types ... now people follow the techie
types around to find out what they should be keeping up with.  Hence the
DUH factor.

I would like a techie only conference, or even just a meeting, some place
where those of us who have been doing this for years and years and years
can go and be challenged instead of bored ...
