WEB SERVICES LIBRARIAN - WEST ORANGE PUBLIC LIBRARY

 The West Orange Public Library seeks a librarian whose enthusiasm and 
 excellent skills match the high expectations of the residents of this 
 dynamic township. West Orange is a diverse community of avid library 
 users. The information department is busy and challenging and our 
 librarians are encouraged to "go the extra mile" to answer information 
 requests. Librarians engage their creativity and communication skills 
 by actively marketing reference services. Group planning and individual 
 projects are part of each librarian's responsibilities. Ongoing 
 professional development is encouraged. The primary responsibilities of 
 this new position include Web design and development and reference 
 service

 Librarians committed to service excellence with a sound understanding 
of the principles and trends of reference and customer service and who 
possess an outstanding knowledge of print and online resources are 
 encouraged to apply. An ALA MLS and NJ Professional Librarian 
 Certificate are required. Minimum salary exceeds NJLA requirements.
