Zoomerang.com gives you a free 30 day trial, during which you can conduct
as many surveys as you want, with all features.  After that time you have
the choice to continue with an annual subscription.  They cross-tabulate
the results nicely. 

If you aren't interested in complex questions/results, 
one of the free polling widgets one sees everywhere will probably do the
job.
