The Local Systems and Services (LSAS) committee of RUSA-MARS is planning
a program for ALA Annual meeting in Atlanta on the topic of Usability
Testing. The title for the program is "Usability Testing for Reference
Librarians: doing it cheap, doing it right, doing it yourself."

LSAS is looking for reference librarians with direct experience in
usability testing who are interested in speaking as part of a panel for
the program. We are looking particularly for librarians from smaller
libraries or from public libraries, but welcome expressions of interest
from all reference librarians, regardless of library type or size. If
you are interested, please send an expression of interest with
information about your past experience with usability testing to
Kathleen Kern, co-chair at
katkern at uiuc.edu. For fullest consideration, please send your
expression of
interest by 1/14/2002.

Thank you.
