I remember this one well.  I reported on this in one of my first
columns for _Technicalities_.  I finished the column on 4/4/94 and it
was published shortly thereafter in the April 1994 issue.   A
paragraph or two further down I said:

"As Mosaic continues to develop, many more features will be added.
I also expect to see commercial versions on the market any day, which
will undoubtedly fill in some of the gaps in the free versions that
are available now."

Those comments didn't require much in the way of predictive abilities.
However, it has been interesting to watch browsers go commercial, then back
to free for the most part.  (NO, I do NOT want to start any browser or
platform wars or MS vs NS vs FSF wars.)
