Sklyarov out on bail

Hi all,

Dmitri Sklyarov's bail hearing was today. He is out on $50,000 bail, paid 
for by his employer, ElComSoft. He is staying with an acquaintance in 
California, and is limited to Northern California. The US Attorney's office 
is holding his passport. This isn't over yet.

Wether he violated the DMCA and thus the law is still a fuzzy issue. This is 
a separate issue from wether DMCA violates fair use or not. For the latest
