More on Netscape Problem

I discovered yesterday evening that application of the MSIE 5.5 SP2 can
kill Netscape Communicator.  After the service pack attempts to launch
Netscape result in a request to create a new profile.  However, after the
new profile is created the browser doesn't launch.  I've tried
uninstalling MSIE 5.5 and reinstalling Netscape 4.73 and a 4.78 upgrade
with no luck.

I'm running Win98SE.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?  If so, any advice on a solution is
welcome.
