Netscape Proxy Server 3.52

Has anyone had success configuring Netscape Proxy Server 3.52 for patron 
access to library databases?  The error message "The Document Contains No Data" 
appears when searching some (but not all) of our databases.  One explanation
I've collected
is that Netscape 3.52 is HTTP 1.1 compliant, while some commercial databases are
not 
yet at this standard.  Anyone having success with 3.52?
