[WEB4LIB] Convert *.doc to *.pdf

See http://cpdf1.adobe.com/index.pl?BP=NS where you can create a trial .pdf
document for free, or purchase a subscription to Adobe's online conversion
services.

You can also purchase the Adobe Acrobat software and install it on your PC.
(Note: this is different from the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.) Once
installed, a menu appears within Word that says "create pdf" and it's a very
simple process from there. If you purchase Adobe Acrobat through a supplier
which offers discounts to academic institutions, the price is quite
reasonable (around $80.00 instead of $249.00 list price).

Once the .pdf file is created, copy it up to your web server and create a
link to it as you would any other file (e.g.

Hope that helps,
Sharon

Subject: [WEB4LIB] Convert *.doc to *.pdf

I would appreciate it very much if some one can provide me with helpful
information on the following:

I want to convert a word document (MS) into a *.pdf file and post it on
our Web site. I don't know if it is possible or how to convert it.

Thanks.
