I have found (by using the Resource Meter in Win98) that Netscape can
eat up resources to the point of crashing the computer. This usually
happens when many browser windows are opened and closed over a period of
several hours. I also find that damaged files are a big problem on most
public Internet machines (improper shutdowns) and have spent most of my
time reformatting and reloading Windows on those computers.

We have also purchased Deep Freeze Pro after using programs such as
Fortes 101. I chose the Pro version mainly because it allows for "Idle
Time reboot". With this, I usually set a computer to automatically
reboot after about 45 minutes of inactivity. It sure makes life easier!
A 60 Day Evaluation is available from their site.

Fortres Grand Corporation also makes a similar product called Clean
Slate. I have not tried this program but here is the URL. A demo is
available.
